We're looking for a reliable person to join us as a Food Production - 1st Shift! Join our team in the heart of Remote and enjoy a dynamic work environment. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. The salary for this position is set at a competitive salary. Â Â Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking 1st shift Food Production team members to join our team in St. Henry.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-approximately 3:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $16.60 with the potential of increasing to $16.85 after 90 days
PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided. Job functions include:
Deboning Production:
 Utilizing a knife, inspecting and trimming defects without cutting off excess meat.
 Performing all job functions which would involve work related to deboning a turkey.
 Reworking any product that does not run through properly.
 Wearing all required PPE and rotating with other team members as directed.
Requirements
 Must be 18 years of age
 Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
 Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
 Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment.
