We're seeking an experienced email copywriter who can own our email program while supporting other key marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution skills and takes pride in delivering polished, publication-ready work.
As a gut health-focused marketing copywriter, you will play a crucial role in executing performance assets for a brand that intersects health, supplements, and education. A deep understanding of the industry, our target audience, DSHEA compliance, and the ability to read and decipher health-related journal articles is essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Email writing:
 Create compelling, conversational email campaigns that drive engagement and sales
 Write and manage multiple email types including:
 Sales and promotional campaigns
 Educational content and blog promotion
 Post-purchase sequences
 Abandoned cart flows
 Customer retention series
 Product education
 Demonstrate mastery of email best practices including subject line optimization, content hierarchy, and clear calls-to-action
 Work independently to plan, write, and polish emails requiring minimal edits before publication
 Follow established templates and formatting guidelines to ensure smooth implementation
 Maintain organized documentation and meet all deadlines consistently
Additional Responsibilities:
 Write and edit website copy, landing pages, blogs, organic and paid media copy, video scripts, podcast scripts, Amazon copy and other marketing materials
 Research and synthesize scientific studies to support marketing claims
 Analyze content performance metrics, gather insights, and optimize copy for improved engagement and conversion in future campaigns
 Work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure that the unique selling points and benefits of Just ThriveÂs products are clearly communicated and compelling to potential customers.
 Collaborate with team members to develop campaign concepts and messaging
 Maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and message across all content and platforms, ensuring that all content reinforces Just ThriveÂs brand identity and values.
 Ensure all copy meets FDA/FTC compliance requirements
 Monitor and analyze digital content trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for content innovation and improvement
 Stay abreast of industry trends and updates to ensure Just ThriveÂs digital content remains relevant and competitive
Required Skills & Experience
 4+ years of direct response copywriting experience with demonstrated success in email marketing
 Proven ability to write clear, engaging copy that converts
 Strong understanding of direct response principles and email marketing best practices - bonus points for experience with Klayvio Marketing Automation Platform.
 Experience writing for the health/wellness industry with knowledge of FDA/FTC/DSHEA compliance
 Demonstrated ability to read and interpret scientific research papers and clinical studies
 Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
 Proficiency with standard marketing tools (Klaviyo, Loom, Google Workspace, etc.)
 Strong project management skills with ability to independently manage multiple deadlines
 A cursory knowledge of AI
 Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
