Position Summary The Associate Manager, Resource Planning leads the department by providing strategic leadership and overseeing resource planning functions. Develops and implements resource planning strategies, manages a team of resource planning professionals, collaborates with senior stakeholders to align resource plans with organizational goals, and ensures effective resource allocation and optimization. Drives process improvements, monitors resource performance, and provides guidance to the team to achieve efficient resource utilization and meet business objectives. What you will do Evaluates current staffing levels and forecasts resource demands based on patient demand, service levels, and other factors in order to develop resource plans that align with business objectives. Manages day-to-day assignments for healthcare professionals and support staff based on the resource plans of individual departments, units, or shifts. Coordinates processes and assignments within staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care. Monitors and adjusts staffing levels and resource allocation based on real-time demand and operational requirements to optimize resource utilization. Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource allocation and utilization, such as staffing ratios, productivity, overtime, and budget adherence. Coordinates with various stakeholders, including department heads, HR, finance, and operations, to gather input, share information, and address resource-related challenges. Identifies opportunities to streamline resource planning processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the accuracy of resource forecasting. Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. Provides guidance, training, and support to department staff regarding industry best resource planning and allocation processes, tools, and policies. Required Qualifications 3-5 years work experience Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Working knowledge of business intelligence Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills Adept at collaboration and teamwork Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills Preferred Qualifications Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP) preferred. Education High School Diploma Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $91,800.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
