Role Description
Responsible for identifying, analyzing and rectifying inaccuracies with billing and reimbursement specific to Third Party Payors that contract with Froedtert Hospital.
ā¢ Documents trends and disseminates information to department heads, medical staff, and contracting staff
ā¢ Goals of sending out compliant, accurate bills
ā¢ Maximizing hospital reimbursement per the terms of the agreements
ā¢ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
ā¢ Previous experience as a practicing nurse in a healthcare institution
ā¢ Experience dealing with third party payers
ā¢ Experience in a healthcare institution auditing third party reimbursement
ā¢ Knowledge of current Federal, State, and Local billing and coding regulations
Requirements
ā¢ Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
