Role Description
As a Manager, Professional Services - COBRA, you’ll deliver exceptional service and optimize operations to make a real difference. We focus on enhancing our partner's experience, solving challenges creatively, and building trust with our partners.
• Lead End-to-End COBRA Client Onboarding: Manage the full implementation lifecycle for new clients, including discovery, planning, data migration, go-live, and post-launch support.
• Deliver High-Touch Service for Strategic Clients: Act as the escalation point for complex projects and ensure exceptional service for enterprise-level clients.
• Drive Team Performance and Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of COBRA implementation specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure Project Excellence: Oversee project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet milestones, budgets, and service level agreements.
• Enhance Implementation Processes: Identify and execute improvements to onboarding workflows, tools, and client-facing materials to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Product, and Technology teams to support client acquisition and advocate for platform enhancements.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in COBRA compliance and benefits administration, with a proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects in a player-coach capacity.
• Excels in client communication, data-driven problem-solving, and is proficient in implementation platforms, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits administration, including at least 2 years focused on COBRA.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing software implementation, client onboarding, or client services teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
