Role Description
This role involves being part of a cross-functional team responsible for a broad range of laboratory clinical and R&D based activities. A major responsibility for this role will be to perform clinical report review prior to their delivery to physicians and patients, which requires an understanding of the underlying processes and data used to produce the reports. This position is largely a technical role that participates in the development and maintenance of data warehousing, analysis, and delivery pipelines as well as analytics tools for internal data users and clinical data ingestion from external partners.
• Interact regularly with nearly every group at the Buffalo, NY lab and occasionally with groups across the greater Labcorp Enterprise Oncology division.
Qualifications
• Proficient at working independently and within a small team environment on multiple concurrent projects.
• Python development experience.
• Experience querying relational databases.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
Requirements
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Biological or Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Bioinformatics. Master’s degree preferred.
