**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Epic Manager, or designee, carry out various duties in support of business systems and end users including but not limited to: performing analysis of workflow; assessment of system needs and requirements; planning, designing, and testing of systems and interfaces; coordinating work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel; training end-users as required; documenting and troubleshooting work involved in systems implementation and maintenance; and acting as liaison to business partners and business area end users. On-call rotation required.Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in a related industry field and 5+ years experience or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
Experience in supporting and implementing healthcare information systems required.
Technical/programming experience required.
Ability to translate clinical/business need into E.H.R. or ERP based workflow is required.
PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required.
Five (5) years MIS and/or clinical experience, including two (2) years in similar and related position required.
EPIC Certifications: HIM Release of Information; HIM Deficiency Tracking, HIM Hospital Coding, Identity.
Other: Onbase, 3M, and RightFax experience.
If the successful candidate does not possess the necessary certifications, they must be obtained within 6 weeks of completing the last EPIC class. Other EPIC certifications may be required after initial EPIC certification.
CPHMIS/CAHIMS or ANA Nursing Informatics Certification preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.Pay RangeUSD $86,985.60 - USD $139,755.20 /Yr.
