As a Math teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to work with youth referred by the public school system in our alternative school placement, providing blended and skill-based learning in a supportive and close-knit school community culture.
Key Highlights of the Role:
Competitive salary range: $35,000 - $42,000 per year
Small classroom sizes with a 15:1 ratio
School hours (7am/8am-3pm) with virtual Friday attendance for students in 2 schools

As a High School Math Teacher / Long-Term Substitute, you will be responsible for working with students in our alternative school placement, providing individualized support and instruction to help them achieve their academic goals. You will use a blended curriculum of hands-on projects, restorative circles, and online learning to engage students and promote academic success. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preference for English, Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology, and Sociology)
3 years of related experience and/or training (Para Pro exam)
Clear criminal record and meets all mandated health requirements
