We are looking for a meticulous Content Editor to refine and enhance our workbooks, course readers, and exams, ensuring they are well-structured, accurate, and effective for student learning.
As a Content creator, you will be responsible for editing, refining, and ensuring the accuracy of educational materials across multiple subjects. You will work closely with curriculum developers and subject matter experts to maintain high standards of clarity, consistency, and engagement in our materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of educational writing, and the ability to make complex concepts accessible to students.
- THIS IS A QUICK TURN-AROUND PROJECT THAT NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED IN 6 WEEKS OR LESS
Key Responsibilities
--Edit and refine workbooks, course readers, and exams to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with educational standards.
-Create curriculum maps for CA or other states
-Create activities for Independent Study Students
--Ensure accessibility by simplifying complex language while maintaining academic rigor.
--Review and edit assessment materials, ensuring fair and well-structured questions that align with learning objectives.
--Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and style across materials.
What We’re Looking For
--Someone familiar with or has taught High School Health
--Familiarity with curriculum development and learning standards (Common Core, NGSS, or other relevant frameworks).
--Experience editing assessments, workbooks, or instructional texts.
--Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
--Proficiency in Google Docs.
