Solutions 71 is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support a Department of Defense customer. The candidate will support a DOD customer who seeks to consolidate multiple application instances into a single Enterprise System capable of supporting 10K users. The application is the innovative technical solution used by the DOD customer to facilitates geospatial information records management in an enterprise database solution and provides web enabled and desktop geospatial solutions to support the DoD mission and its users. The mission of the application is to provide the ability for DoD, AF and Intra-agency partners to transparently access, visualize and perform analysis of DoD geospatial data and products from an enterprise perspective for situational awareness, planning and decision-making. The application provides the Common Installation Picture (CIP) for customer installations around the world through the use of web mapping applications. As a β€˜system of systems,’ the application allows installation-level users to visualize their base with detailed imagery and provides analytical capabilities for working with airfield waivers, emergency situations and other functions. Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to): β€’ Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support and management (helpdesk) for the application Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (SIPRNet) systems. β€’ Interface with DoD customer to provide support on help desk tickets related to training, on-going deployments, or future system implementation changes. β€’ Field trouble calls, identify issue and create ticket, resolve or forward issue β€’ Analyze and categorize issues by identifying the type of problem and provide report trends. β€’ Receive and process IT Service Requests, monitor incoming service requests and route to appropriate section, provide supervisor updates on IT Service Requests which are not receiving the proper attention. β€’ Assign and administer approved new user accounts and access privileges. Additionally, maintain documentation of any users provided roles or accesses through help desk or system administrator processes instead of SAAR process. Requirements: β€’ IAW DoD 8570.01-M, must meet IAT II minimum qualifications. β€’ 6 years experience as help desk technician or IT related field β€’ Geospatial Information Systems experience highly desired β€’ Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) β€’ Experience using Service Desk tools (Jira Service Desk, Solar Winds, Etc.) β€’ Must possess an Active Secret Clearance Visit our website at for company information Solutions 71, LLC is an EOE/M/F/VET/Disability Apply tot his job
