Job Description:
As a Heavy Equipment Driver, you will be responsible for operating different types of heavy machines such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes on construction or industrial sites. This position requires a high degree of skill, precision, and attention to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy machinery to perform various tasks on construction or industrial sites.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor problems.
• Report any major mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Follow established traffic patterns avoiding site hazards.
Requirements:
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a vocational training program in heavy equipment operation would be a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and machinery maintenance procedures.
