Competitive Salary $14.00-$16.00 per hour (depending on experience and education) with potential for incremental increases during your first 180 days up to an additional $2/hour based on performance.
401k with Annual Employer Profit-Sharing contributions (historically 5% annual salary - employee contributions not required!)
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be assisting clients who have won their benefits and ensuring the firm receives all fees owed by the Social Security Administration in a timely manner.
Remote work from home positions available only in the following states: Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
In this role you will:
Deal directly with SSA on all matters pertaining to the receipt of favorable decisions and fee collections
Work closely with the firm's accounting and finance department to help maximize the timely receipt of accounts receivables
Serve as a point of contact for clients who have won their benefits
To be successful in this role you will need:
High School Diploma; Degree preferred; or equivalent combination
Accounts Receivable and/or accounting experience a plus
Customer service experience
Excellent telephone, communication, and active listening skills
Ability to meet performance standards whether in office or working remotely from home
Strong people skills
Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Prior experience with Social Security Disability representative fee payment processes a plus
Minimum Requirements for a Remote Home Office:
Computer with up-to-date operating system (No Macs, Chromebooks, Tablets)
Fast internet connection (20MB+)
Wired Ethernet cable Internet connection in your home office
Land line telephone or good cell phone signal in home office
Quiet, private home office with no distractions during business hours
Reside in one of the above listed states
Physical Requirements:
Remote home office setting; sitting, keyboarding, visual w/monitor, use of telephone, computer.
