Healthcare Project Architect - REMOTE
Optimus Architecture has an immediate opening for a Registered Project Architect. This is a remote position for a qualified architect to work with our design team based in our Hudson Valley, New York office. We provide full-service architectural and interior design services on projects across the Northeast Region, specializing in healthcare. We are looking for someone with strong healthcare architectural skills capable of taking a project from programming to completion of construction.
• Experience with healthcare projects, especially requirements of New York State Department of Health.
• Ability to take a project from programming through close-out.
• Capable of preparing a complete set of architectural construction drawings in AutoCAD.
• Work collaboratively with clients and design team to achieve mutual project goals.
• Ability to coordinate design with structural and MEP engineers.
• Construction administration experience: review and respond to RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Most projects are interior renovations, but must be able to design addition or new build projects from the ground up.
• Proven experience as a Project Architect specializing in healthcare with knowledge of New York State Department of Health requirements.·
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, WordPerfect, and Sketch-up.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, with creative problem solving.
• Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture; Architect License is required.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
