• You will be responsible for the in-depth analysis of diverse healthcare datasets, including claims, provider, member, and encounter data. This analysis will form the foundation for strategic decision-making and operational enhancements.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust reports and dashboards using advanced analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI. These tools will be essential for visualizing data, tracking key performance indicators, and communicating findings effectively.

• Proactively identify significant trends, anomalies, and cost drivers within the healthcare data. Your ability to spot patterns and deviations will be crucial for uncovering opportunities and mitigating risks.

• Conduct thorough root-cause analysis to understand the underlying factors contributing to identified trends or issues. This deep dive will enable the development of targeted solutions and interventions.

• Provide critical support for key medical economics initiatives, including Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) calculations, Quality Assessment Index (QAI) analysis, Return on Investment (ROI) evaluations, and pricing strategy development. Your contributions will directly impact the financial health and strategic direction of our healthcare solutions.

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for presentation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and business partners.

• Foster strong collaborative relationships across business and clinical teams, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in healthcare data analytics.

• Guide and mentor junior analysts, sharing your knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall analytical capabilities of the team.

• Leverage your understanding of healthcare payment methodologies, such as Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG), Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC), and Enhanced Ambulatory Payment Groups (EAPG), to accurately interpret financial data and reimbursement structures.

• Apply your knowledge of managed care principles and medical economics to contextualize data analysis and provide strategic recommendations.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality, analytical processes, and reporting standards within the organization.
