Proactive Worldwide seeks an Associate Engagement Manager to lead client engagements and manage research teams within our Healthcare and Life Sciences practice. This high-impact, client-facing role is ideal for professionals with strong leadership experience, analytical skills, and a passion for helping top-tier companies make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage competitive intelligence engagements for global clients
• Ensure timely delivery of projects under shifting priorities and deadlines
• Oversee project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Manage client relationships, gather requirements, and present findings
• Analyze and synthesize data into actionable insights, reports, and executive presentations
• Collaborate with senior leadership on project scope, timelines, and team workflows
• Support business development through account farming and proposal input
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to talent development
Requirements
• PhD in Biology or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in competitive intelligence or market research and 2+ year in project and people management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings clearly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• AI experience is a plus.
• Travel occasionally (domestic/international).
• Experience with intelligence databases (e.g., Meltwater, PIERS, TrialTrove)
