WORK SCHEDULE
- Part-time (90% FTE)
- Days: 7:00am- 7:00pm

- Respond to patient and family inquiries in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming and organized unit environment for patients, families, and staff
- Provide staff, providers, vendors and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communication, including answering phones and triaging team request
- Work closely with the charge RN to help manage patient flow, prioritize unit needs, and coordinate admits, transfers, and discharges
- Coordinate transportation and appropriate paperwork for patient transfers and diagnostic testing
- Handle unit paperwork, including patient chart maintenance, consent forms, and other documentation
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and restock as needed Utilize computer systems such as Epic, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook for communication, documentation, and coordination
- Partner with all members of the care team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
- Other duties as assigned by the department
- High school graduation or equivalent AND
- One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR
- An equivalent combination of education/experience
