Health Informatics Analyst (remote)
What you will do
As the Health Informatics Analyst, you will help grow Stryker Sages capabilities in data analytics and reporting in the area of value-based care and patient safety. This role will analyze clinical quality data and build reporting solutions to enhance outcomes and health economic value that support decision-making.
Capture, structure and analyze publicly-reported healthcare data from various databases to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve patient care, operational efficiency, and health economic value
Analyze data on hospital performance metrics, such as readmission rates, patient satisfaction scores, and clinical outcomes, to demonstrate the value of our interventions in improving these metrics or identify areas for improvement.
Conduct analyses using CMS Pay for Performance data and other financial indicators to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, and improve the financial health of our healthcare partners.
Support decision-making by providing evidence to healthcare providers on how our interventions can contribute to meeting CMS performance targets, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and financial benefits.
Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions that enhance our commercial health economic and value-based care competencies.
Generate and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in the implementation and evaluation of health informatics and health economic projects.
Follow data handling and reporting regulations and standards, such as HIPAA.
What you need
Required
Bachelors degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health, Business Analytics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in health informatics, data analysis, or a related role.
Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel), electronic health record (EHR) systems, or health information systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare data standards and interoperability (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
Power BI/Tableau visualizations and development.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Certification in health informatics or healthcare quality
$75,300 - $156,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
