Health Coach Obesity Medicine
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health Coach to join our specialty Obesity Medicine Clinic run by Obesity board certified MD in Texas. In this role, you will empower clients to achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized coaching and support.
The hired candidate would do video visits as a health coach and do follow ups on Chronic Care management (CCM) patients . CCM visit protocol and Obesity specific training and curriculum will be provided. You will utilize your expertise in motivational interviewing, nutrition, and behavioral health to implement effective care plans that promote sustainable lifestyle changes. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in nutrition, psychology or wellness who are eager to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties
• Conduct one-on-one video coaching sessions to assess patient needs and support them with making sustainable healthy lifestyle changes
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and encourage clients towards their goals.
• Educate clients on nutrition, weight loss strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Provide ongoing support and accountability to clients throughout their wellness journey
• Collaborate with treating physician to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust plans as necessary to optimize results.
Qualifications
• Board Certification in health coaching or related fields desirable
• Background in nutrition or psychology .
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
