About the position
The Industrial Medical Assistant (IMA) role at Remote Medical International involves performing occupational health tests and assessments under the guidance of the Corporate Medical Director. The IMA is responsible for maintaining high professional standards while supporting RMI clients in various environments, including industrial and remote settings. This position emphasizes the importance of quality service delivery and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Perform occupational health testing and assessments in alignment with current training, protocols, and scope of practice.

Complete RMI and client reporting requirements as noted within each individual project and/or client.
,
Maintain assessment center facilities in accordance with RMI and prevailing standards.
,
Represent RMI in a professional manner at all times.
,
Maintain current professional certifications, as designated for assigned projects.
,
Review health questionnaires for accuracy and completeness.
,
Document results of tests and assessments.
,
Perform administrative duties including scanning, sending, and proper disposal of patient health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards.
,
Maintain adequate inventory of examination room supplies and prepare exam rooms at the beginning and end of day and between each patient contact.
,
Participate in the orientation and training of new personnel.
Requirements
Current certification/license as a state Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse (state dependent) OR current certification/license as a state licensed Paramedic.
,
3 years' experience, or 4,160 hours, at the current license level that will be practiced in the field.
,
Prior work experience in a healthcare environment including primary care, urgent care, and occupational health offices.
,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and general computer & technology literacy.
,
Current BLS, CPR with AED at the medical rescuer level.
,
Current state license in respective discipline.
