We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the healthcare industry, with expertise in ICD/CPT and HCPCS codes, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Healthcare Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients, caretakers, care providers... and insurance personnel, ensuring seamless operations and excellent service delivery.
Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology and managed care concepts to streamline processes and procedures.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills in all aspects of your work.
Exercise independent judgment and decision-making abilities, maintaining professionalism and diplomacy at all times.
Leverage your proficiency in web-based technology and Microsoft Office applications to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide outstanding communication and organizational support to meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
6-8 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in ICD/CPT and HCPCS codes.
Strong customer service experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and managed care principles.
Familiarity with standardized processes for evaluating medical support operations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
