The Role:
• Liverpool City Council’s Lifestyles Leisure Services is undergoing a dynamic transformation, and as part of this programme, we are embarking on the creation of an exciting new management structure. This includes the creation of three key new roles, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Sports & Recreation services. Looking to build a forward-thinking team, we are seeking individuals with significant experience to bring their expertise and creativity to the table
• These roles offer the autonomy to truly make the position your own, driving innovation and growth in an environment that values leadership and new ideas, to truly revolutionise the public sector leisure industry
• As the Health & Activity Contracts Coordinator, you will oversee the coordination and support of health contracts and initiatives across Liverpool, leading the development and delivery of community-based programmes focused on key health themes such as healthy weight, mental health, and social isolation. You will collaborate with partner organisations and the voluntary sector to implement community-led solutions, monitor performance to identify opportunities and risks and keep up to date with health-related policies and trends
• Additionally, you'll identify funding opportunities, contribute to joint strategic needs assessments, manage budgets to ensure financial performance and represent lifestyles at key health and wellbeing partnership meetings
