Overview: How you can make a difference: The Head of Strategic Communications Business Partners will oversee a team of communications professionals aligned to major enterprise initiatives, providing senior-level communications counsel to leaders and ensuring communications support operational execution, organizational change, and enterprise alignment. This role will also drive continuous improvement in how HealthEquity communicates by strengthening workflows, optimizing existing communications tools, and identifying opportunities to embed emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency, insight generation, and communication effectiveness. Operating at the intersection of strategy, communications, and organizational transformation, this role ensures HealthEquity communicates effectively with teammates, leaders, members, and key stakeholders while reinforcing a consistent and high-quality member experience. This role will coach and develop a high-performing team of communications professionals, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing: Lead the Strategic Communications Business Partner Function. Leading and developing a team of communications professionals aligned to major enterprise priorities Establishing the operating model for the Strategic Communications Business Partner function Ensuring enterprise initiatives are translated into clear communications for relevant audiences Aligning communications efforts across teams to support enterprise priorities and operational execution Ensuring communications reinforce a consistent and high-quality experience Developing audience segmentation and channel strategies that improve clarity and reach Ensuring effective communication cadence across leadership forums and internal channels Strengthen the effectiveness and impact of communications programs across the enterprise. Build Communications Systems, Workflows, and Playbooks - Strengthen the operational foundation of the communications function by building repeatable processes and frameworks. Developing communications playbooks for enterprise initiatives and leadership moments Strengthening communications workflows and planning processes across teams Optimizing existing communications tools and platforms to improve efficiency and reach Identifying opportunities to embed AI-enabled tools and automation that improve communication workflows, insight generation, and operational efficiency Building frameworks that help leaders communicate strategy and change effectively What you will need to be successful: 13+ years of experience in corporate communications Track record of managing teams and driving results in a fast paced environment Demonstrated success developing measurable communications strategies tied to business outcomes Proven ability to develop measurable communications strategies tied to business outcomes Strong background supporting enterprise transformation and major strategic initiatives Ability to advise and influence teammates at all levels of the organization Success in the Role will contribute to: Clear translation of enterprise strategy into communications that drive alignment.
