Head of Retail & StockLocation: Remote (UK-based) with regular travel to salons nationwideContract: Permanent, Full-Time (45 hours per week, Monday–Friday)Salary: £55k - £70k + travel expenses + performance bonus About the RoleAt RUSH Hair, we are looking for a commercially driven and hands-on Head of Retail & Stock to elevate our in-salon retail performance across the UK.This is a high-impact role focused on driving retail growth, improving operational processes, and creating best-in-class visual merchandising standards across a diverse salon estate. You will work cross-functionally with salon teams, senior leadership, and key brand partners to maximise revenue and customer experience.Key Responsibilities1. Stock Control & Operational ProcessesDesign and implement scalable stock control processes across the businessEnsure consistent stock management, ordering, and reporting across all locationsDrive compliance and accountability at salon levelReduce waste, shrinkage, and missed sales opportunities due to stock issues2. Retail Growth & Commercial PerformanceIdentify and implement initiatives to increase retail sales per clientAnalyse performance data to spot opportunities and underperformanceWork closely with salon managers to drive retail KPIs and accountabilityIntroduce campaigns, incentives, and training to improve product sell-through3. Visual Merchandising & In-Salon ExperienceDevelop and implement visual merchandising standards across all salonsAdapt merchandising strategies to suit varying salon layouts and customer demographicsEnsure retail displays are premium, consistent, and commercially effectiveConduct regular salon visits to audit standards and provide hands-on support4.
