This role oversees and mentors the QA team, sets high-level quality standards and ensures the seamless integration of automated testing within CI/CD pipelines. This position requires hands-on involvement with code and automation alongside management responsibilities, focusing on resource allocation, cross-team alignment, and continuous improvement of QA processes, tools and methodologies.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, focusing on resource allocation, cross-team alignment, and fostering professional growth Define implement and adjust Zyte's quality vision in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders Design and implement automated API testing and regression testing strategies for product releases Develop and manage test data solutions to support comprehensive and scalable automated testing Establish and refine QE best practices, metrics, and test case management methodologies Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of quality engineering technologies and tools Ensure seamless integration of automated testing within CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align quality strategies with business goals Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4 years in a leadership roleProven hands-on experience with test automation tooling (e.g. Selenium, Playwright)Strong development background and coding skills in a Tier1 programming language and experience implementing automated testing solutionsExperience in implementing full stack automated testing solutionsDeep knowledge of API testing tools and methodologiesExperience with building and maintaining scalable test environmentsExperience with designing CI/CD workflowsDemonstrated expertise in test data managementStrong understanding of load and performance testing methodologiesExperience with bug tracking and issue reporting systems (Jira, Linear, Sentry)Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional QE teamsExcellent understanding of web technologies, APIs, and data extraction systemsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of security and vulnerability scanning toolsExperience with static code analysis tools and methodologiesFamiliarity with mobile app testing tools and frameworksExperience with visual regression testing toolsExperience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)BenefitsWhat We OfferOpportunity to shape the automation strategy for a leading data extraction companyCollaborative and innovative work environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesCompetitive salary and benefits packageRemote-friendly work culture with flexible scheduling optionsOriginally posted on Himalayas
