We just launched podcast hosting on beehiiv, and the response has been immediate — hundreds of podcasts hosted on beehiiv within hours. Podcasting is a critical channel for creators looking to truly grow and leverage their audience, and we’re building it into a tent-pole part of the beehiiv strategy. We’re looking for a strategic Head of Podcast with deep experience in the podcasting space to own this initiative and scale it into a core pillar of the platform. You are a strategic thinker who can get your hands dirty with product and GTM, and will report directly to our CEO / Co-founder. Ideally, you’ll have: 5-7 years of experience in the podcasting industry, with a career that spans both product strategy and go-to-market execution. Deep relationships and a strong reputation within the podcasting ecosystem (platforms, networks, creators, advertisers). A strong point of view on where podcasting is headed and how beehiiv can win alongside the rest of its product suite. Experience leading (or materially contributing to) product and growth strategy for a podcast platform, network, or major podcast-adjacent business. Solid product skills – experience in product management, and partnering with Design, Engineering, and Analytics team, an eye for good user experience, and the ability to lead a team to the ultimate experience for our podcasting customers. Track record of acquiring and growing a base of podcast creators or publishers on a platform. Experience working at the intersection of content, advertising, and creator tools. Comfort operating at both the strategic and hands-on levels in the fastest-moving startup environment. What you'll be responsible for: Owning the vision and strategy for podcasts at beehiiv, growing it into a tent-pole part of the business. Making decisions on what we build next, how we approach it, and how the podcast experience integrates with the broader beehiiv platform. Driving podcaster acquisition alongside our CMO and Growth team — building and executing the strategy to bring more podcasts onto the platform. Identifying and leading key integrations and partnerships in the podcasting ecosystem. Shaping the podcast user experience in close collaboration with Product and Engineering. Building the path toward podcast advertising as a revenue stream, with our Ads Solutions team. Leveraging your reputation, network, and industry expertise to establish beehiiv as a serious player in podcasting. Storytelling internally and externally — articulating the podcast vision to the team, to creators, and to the market.
