This role spans multiple concepts and regions, partnering closely with founders and Operations to professionalize a fast-scaling organization. Head Of People & Organizational Development – Benefits AndCompensation • Competitive salary • Remote role with multi-state exposure and some travel • Full benefits package • Growth-focused ownership group • Long-term career path as the company scales • Opportunity to architect systems instead of simply maintaining them Head Of People & Organizational Development – Requirements & Qualifications • Experience building scalable HR and people systems in a multi-unit environment • Strong background in talent strategy, recruiting models, and workforce planning • Proven success rolling out leadership development, training, and structured onboarding • Skilled at culture design, engagement strategies, and retention tools • Solid understanding of labor law, wage and hour, safety, and general compliance • Ability to create, track, and drive accountability through HR KPIs • Comfortable partnering directly with founders and Operations leadership • Experience supporting multiple brands and leaders across several states • Able to bring both strategic vision and hands-on execution when needed Daily Responsibilities • Build and execute a 1–3 year People & Organizational Development roadmap • Strengthen bench depth through workforce planning and predictable promotion pipelines • Guide performance management rhythms and elevate manager capability • Create scalable onboarding, training, and leadership development frameworks • Design culture, engagement, and retention initiatives across all concepts • Standardize HR processes, tools, and documentation for organizational scale Head of People & Organizational Development – Preferred Background & Skills: • Multi-unit restaurant or hospitality experience • Track record of reducing turnover and improving leadership capability • Experience implementing HR tech and people analytics • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence operators and field leaders • High EQ, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment At Goodwin Recruiting, we are committed to our core values and providing world class customer service.We are committed to helping our clients navigate and comply with the complex and ever-changing labor laws as well as help ensure that in every hiring decision, internally and with our client partners, that all viable candidates are considered, and the most qualified candidate is offered the role.
