We have a passion for change-makers and we support them using a blended strategy of business consulting, catalytic investment, and direct development of technology and services.

The Digitalis Commons Partnership... Program provides direct support to philanthropic and public funders as they transition early-stage health technologies from concept to patients. Our foundational partner is the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), a US government agency that provides research funding to support transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all (see portfolio of existing programs).

We are seeking an individual to join our team to build our existing Commercial Innovation Network into a premier product that provides innovation support across a range of clients including philanthropies, family offices, and under-served institutions. In the current state, the network is composed of a community of senior experts from across the fields of life science and healthcare innovation who work with us to mentor clients and ensure that we have rapid access to cutting-edge, relevant expertise. We are looking for a creative individual who is excited to lead the product across multiple functions including product development, product management and customer discovery to ensure that it can meet client needs and advance the Commons’ strategic goals.

Job responsibilities:
• Serve as primary lead for the Digitalis Commons Commercial Innovation Network including for design, development and management.
• Conduct customer discovery to guide product design
• Lead product development
• Engage in business development to procure additional clients
• Proactively manage efforts to source, interview and onboard new members of the network on-demand to meet client requirements
• Build and lead network engagement strategies that ensure expert members find value from network membership, including engagements with other experts, publicity, educational and/or thought-partnership opportunities
• Develop systems to ensure network can be used to provide rapid and highly accurate placements for clients in a scalable manner
• Work with internal client-facing team to source and fulfill all client requests for advisors from the network in a timely manner
• Serve as primary contact and relationship manager for current and future consultants in the network
• Publicize the network through our social media presence and other communication channels.
• Ensure alignment of product development with the overall business strategy and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
• In cases where service needs align with your expertise and interests, you may also directly manage 1-2 clients in their use of the expert network as a means to understand client needs.
• Directly contribute to organizational business strategy
• Participate, and where appropriate, lead cross-team programs including on special products as they arise
• Learn by doing - embrace an agile framework that enables continuous improvement for the organization.

Job qualifications
• Advanced degree in relevant technical field or business 10+ years experience in commercialization, innovation, entrepreneurship, tech transfer or corporate strategy
• Experience working in a dynamic, start-up environment
• Experience in relationship management with external senior consultants
• Understanding of the health science landscape to be able to actively source experts to match client needs
• Product management experience
• Proactive communicator
• Ability to lead meetings with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams to execute on joint projects
• Ability to translate program goals into product requirements

Compensation and Benefits
• Expected annual base pay of $180,000 to $230,000 (pay may vary based on experience or other relevant factors) plus a discretionary bonus
