If you’re ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.About the teamReporting to the APAC (ex-China) General Manager, the Head of ANZ will lead a ~70-person Commercial team with full ownership of commercial outcomes and market growth. This is a high-impact, externally facing role responsible for driving rapid execution across go-to-market, product expansion, and partnerships, while shaping the culture, strategy, and performance of one of Airwallex’s largest and most important regions.ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial teams across ANZBuild and scale a high-performing, execution-focused team through effective talent acquisition, retention, and developmentFoster a high-energy, outcomes-driven culture that prioritizes speed, ownership, and collaborationAct as the face of Airwallex in ANZ, building strong relationships with key customers, regulators, media, and external stakeholders at major events and forumsOwn and execute the ANZ regional strategy, driving rapid growth through new product launches, go-to-market execution, operational efficiency, and strategic partnershipsPartner closely with the global C-suite to align on goals, track progress, and report on key business metrics and team performanceManage the full ANZ P&L, with responsibility for revenue growth, gross margin improvement, and cost controlProactively identify commercial opportunities and mitigate business and operational risks in a fast-paced environmentStep in to lead high-priority initiatives or cover critical roles as needed to ensure continued business momentumWho you areWe're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.Minimum qualifications:10+ years of relevant experience in the payments, fintech, or tech industryBachelor’s or Master's degree from a top tier university is preferredExperience leading and scaling a high-growth start-up, preferably in a leadership position with direct reports and responsibility over P<op tier consulting experienceProven experience in managing complex projects and teamsPreferred qualifications:Experience as a Country Manager with a proven track record scaling a developed marketEqual opportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
