As a Veterinary Claims Coordinator, you will play a critical role in reviewing medical records and invoices to evaluate coverage and settle pet health insurance claims. Key Responsibilities:


Accurately review medical records and invoices to evaluate coverage and settle pet health insurance claims
Communicate with insured parties, veterinarians, and pet adoption agencies to determine claim details and request necessary documentation
Utilize workflow queues to perform job functions, including claim entry, pre-adjudication, and claim closeouts
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of claims


Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent required
Three years of veterinary medical experience or equivalent preferred
Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology
Proven history of adherence to corporate policies and procedures
Excellent tracking, follow-up, and relationship-building skills


Preferred Qualifications:


Veterinary Technician license
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Articulate, professional, and customer-focused with attention to detail
Strong computer background using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet
