Remote Transcription Specialist (Full-Time/Part-Time)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Transcription Specialist to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. As a Transcription Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality transcription services, working independently and collaboratively to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent listening, typing, and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. You will be responsible for creating accurate written versions of audio and video recordings, reviewing and editing transcriptions, and identifying inconsistencies. Key Responsibilities:
Understand client specifications and formatting requirements to deliver high-quality transcriptions
Complete transcriptions in a timely manner, reviewing drafts for errors and inconsistencies
Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and respect sensitive information
Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors to resolve issues and deliver exceptional service
Stay up-to-date with transcription software updates and attend refresher workshops as required
Submit completed drafts to clients and incorporate feedback to ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain typing skills through regular practice and drills
Requirements:
High school diploma required; degree, associate's degree, or additional courses preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, Express Scribe, and other transcription software
Excellent typing speed and reading skills
High degree of professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail
Ability to focus for long periods and work independently
Willingness to work overtime as required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
