Key Responsibilities:
Establish relationships with provider offices and hospitals through outbound calls to request medical records
Accurately record progress and perform data entry in our abstraction tool
Collaborate with our Administrative Lead and Medical Record Reviewers to manage caseloads and ensure efficient workflows
Work cohesively with the team to organize medical records and resources, supporting our Medical Record Retrieval (MRR) processes
Conduct follow-up calls to track expected charts and provide updates to offices
Send fax requests to providers and research information using online websites and internal applications
Utilize Microsoft Excel daily to manage projects, report progress, and identify barriers
Persist in finding accurate information to retrieve medical records, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence
Perform additional duties as assigned, including potential minimal travel
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry
Preferred 3 years of experience in Medical Records or Case Management
Experience in Medical Record Retrieval, with strong documentation and follow-up skills
