Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Utility Employee to join our TechOps team at Delta Air Lines. As a Maintenance Utility Employee, you will play a critical role in maintaining the equipment, tooling, and parts located on the ramp, inside and outside of the Base Maintenance facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and outside the hangar.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain equipment, tooling, and parts located on the ramp, inside and outside of the Base Maintenance facilities
Operate and locate equipment in and around the aircraft located on the ramp area outside of Base Maintenance hangar facilities
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and outside the hangar
Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, stripping, blasting, and coating of aircraft parts
Assist in determining the appropriate detergents, solutions, and equipment to effectively and efficiently accomplish shop and aircraft related functions
Coordinate the flow of parts and supplies around the bay to support the AMTs and ensure safe work environment
May be asked to support aircraft movement as a tug driver, brake rider, marshal, or wing walker if candidate has completed required training

Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or high school equivalency
Valid driver's license
At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
Ability to read and write English
Physical requirements: lift 50lbs, multi-task, work under pressure, and work a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Aircraft Movement experience
