Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to oversee and manage all aspects of CHOC's pediatric cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, fetal cardiology, and heart services operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in cardiovascular services, with a strong focus on operational excellence, clinical efficiency, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance cardiology patient care and drive overall financial performance
* Manage the development and execution of annual budgets, resources, and staffing to support high-quality patient care
* Implement advanced technologies and treatments to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
* Foster a collaborative environment among healthcare and administrative teams
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines specific to pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery
* Analyze data and trends to drive continuous improvement in pediatric cardiology services

Requirements:

* Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a director-level position in cardiovascular services
* Previous experience in a leadership role within pediatric cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and heart operations
* Proven leadership experience in pediatric cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or related specialty
* Understanding of pediatric cardiovascular diseases, treatments, and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
* Commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered care

Education and Training:

* Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
* Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field (preferred)
* LEAN, Six Sigma, or equivalent performance improvement or change management certification (preferred)

Specialized Skills:

* Broad knowledge of quality, patient safety, performance improvement, regulatory requirements, medical group management, peer review, and legal aspects of care
* Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills
* Attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations

Work Environment:

* Work location: Orange, California
* Work shift: Day - 08hrs (United States of America)
