Job Title: Director, Amazon Retail Planning - Growth Catalyst
Job Summary:
We're seeking a seasoned retail planning expert to join our Amazon team as a Director, Amazon Retail Planning. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing inventory management, and developing strategic plans to meet financial goals. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive retail plans to drive sales growth, improve inventory management, and increase profitability.
Forecast daily sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust projections based on consumer behavior, seasonality, and promotional events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and supply chain, to align on assortment strategies, promotional plans, and inventory management.
Develop and manage comprehensive merchandise plans to meet financial goals, analyzing historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Stay informed about market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior, conducting market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management, driving business decisions and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in operations, business management, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in retail planning, preferably with Amazon account experience within an e-commerce company.
5+ years of experience with analytics tools, business and shopper insights, and data-driven planning and optimization.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced predictive formulas, and Tableau.
Hands-on experience delivering and presenting data and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
In-depth understanding of retailer reporting platforms and forecasting tools (Vendor Central or Seller Central preferred).
