About the Role:
As a Device OEM Program Manager, you'll leverage your product strategy background and business development acumen to work closely with our device OEMs and stakeholders. Your mission will be to align business objectives with Verizon's direction and deliver results. You'll work with partners to launch solutions that exceed Verizon's high-quality benchmarks, lead internal and external teams, and own the OEM relationship.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with device OEMs to find mutually beneficial areas for collaboration
Strategize with cross-functional stakeholders to align on business needs and opportunities
Organize quarterly business reviews and periodical meetings to review OEM sales metrics and areas for improvement
Manage schedules across multiple teams and collaborate with Marketing peers to drive awareness and socialization of products
Provide front-line feedback and communicate device pros/cons to various OEMs across multiple product lines
Review device COGS and pricing strategy to maximize Verizon sales and meet annual CV and sales metrics
Gather key insights from business customers and use cases to shape the product experience
Refine product concepts derived from existing customer pain points into valuable products or services
Partner with product marketers and engineers to define and drive product vision and distill a strategic product roadmap
Collaborate with engineering and IT organizations on product development to deliver products that are fit for purpose and desirable in the market
Work with the sales organization on product targets and enablement needs


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant work experience in product management, product development, portfolio strategy, or related field
Three or more years in the wireless/telecommunications or related field
Device experience specifically with purpose-built solutions (e.g. Routers / CPEs / Modems /smartphones / etc)


Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree
Ability to translate market knowledge and tactical strategy into compelling use cases
Deep data and analytic expertise for evidence-based decision-making
Technical skills with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information to executives
Experience with product launches and developing product roadmaps
Strong communication, presentation, decision-making, and negotiation skills
Passion about learning about new wireless products, devices, and software technology and application trends
Experience with building cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced, demanding environment
