Full Time Overnight Support Specialist (8pm-8am)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Overnight Support Specialist to join our team. As a Overnight Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities
Maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like atmosphere
Preparing meals and promoting healthy eating habits
Planning and leading recreational activities to enhance social and emotional well-being
Supporting individuals with school work and educational goals
Administering medication and monitoring health and wellness
Assisting with individualized goal programs to promote independence and self-advocacy
Operating a company vehicle to transport individuals to appointments and activities
To be successful in this role, you must:
Hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience working in the medical field, childcare, or with individuals with developmental disabilities
Be eligible to work in the United States and be at least 18 years of age
Pass a Level 2 background screening and drug test
Hold a valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
Be physically able to lift 50lbs, walk, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
Have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, and speak English
