Guest Writer – Altadena Voices Wanted
We are only looking for writers with a personal connection to Altadena or nearby fire-affected communities in Los Angeles. Please do not apply if you are not local to this area.
Rate and Details:
• Posts are 800–1200 words
• $50 for lighter storytelling
• $100 for posts involving interviews or deeper research
This is a guest contributor role for select weeks.

Lotus Rising LA is a grassroots nonprofit born from the fires that tore through Los Angeles in 2025. We are here to help families rebuild their homes and their place in this city. We believe the people who lived it should be the ones leading the story. That is where you come in.
