VAST Data is seeking a GSI Senior Sales Engineer in New Delhi to drive technical sales engagements and support our rapid growth in the Data storage market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data storage solutions and possess the ability to articulate the value of VAST Data's offerings to customers. This role requires a technical leader who can effectively collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
Engage with Global Systems Integrators (GSI) to drive technical sales initiatives and foster relationships.
Provide expert technical guidance and support during the sales process, ensuring customer requirements are met.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of VAST Data's products and solutions.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and partner organizations.
Act as a technical liaison between customers and product development teams to communicate feedback and requirements.
Lead customer proof-of-concept projects and validate solutions in real-world environments.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position VAST Data's solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in data storage or cloud technologies.
Strong understanding of storage architectures, protocols, and technologies.
Demonstrated success in engaging with large enterprise customers and Global Systems Integrators.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical certifications in relevant technologies or platforms are a plus.
