Join our dynamic team at Good Shepherd Health & Fitness Center in Barrington, IL, as a Group Class Instructor and play a vital role in shaping the wellness journey of our community members. As a passionate and certified group fitness instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of engaging classes, such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, water aerobics, and circuit training, to inspire and motivate our members to achieve their fitness goals. About the Role:
Teach approximately 3-6 group fitness classes per week, with opportunities to earn extra income
Provide safe, effective, and fun exercise experiences for members of all fitness levels
Collaborate with our fitness team to create a supportive and inclusive community environment
Requirements:
Current group exercise instructor certification from a nationally accredited organization (ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA specialty class certification)
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute (required within 30 days of hire)
Flu vaccination required
