Were looking for a Group Exercise Director to lead instructor hiring, class programming, and quality control across all locations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage from a distance, build smart systems, and bring energy to every clubs group exercise experience. Key Responsibilities: Instructor Oversight • Recruit, onboard, and coach instructors across all clubs • Maintain sub lists by region • Ensure all instructors have valid certifications and CPR/AED Class Scheduling • Build and maintain weekly class schedules • Adjust offerings based on usage, trends, and member feedback • Launch new club schedules during pre-sale and opening Quality Control • Conduct audits (virtual and in-person) to ensure brand standards • Provide structured feedback and coaching • Create simple tools and training to support instructor consistency Club Support • Serve as main Group Exercise contact for Club and Fitness Managers • Assist with schedule coverage and instructor challenges • Partner on pre-sale planning and member engagement Qualifications: • 3+ years of multi-site Group Exercise leadership preferred • National Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.) • CPR/AED certified • Strong scheduling, coaching, and problem-solving skills • Experience managing remotely and supporting teams across multiple locations • Organized, proactive, and comfortable traveling 3050% of the time Compensation & Perks: • Competitive salary (based on experience) • Travel reimbursement • Annual education/conference stipend • Complimentary Retro Fitness family membership • Clear path to a future National Director role as the company expands Flexible work from home options available.
