Ability to provide timely and accurate fare quotes
Experience in leveraging data for decision-making
Competence in sourcing airline block space effectively
Familiarity with annual airline group contracts
Knowledge of sourcing and confirming charter aircraft
Understanding of fare restrictions and comparative analysis
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities
Accurately price fares based on industry rules specific to each destination
Deliver fare quotes within established timeframes, negotiating additional time when necessary
Utilize past client event data to obtain origin cities and calculate program averages through block space pricing
Confirm airline block space for large groups, including gateway block confirmations
Assist colleagues by familiarizing yourself with group contracts and pricing structures
When applicable, find and confirm charter aircraft
Evaluate and compare current published airfares with negotiated rates to choose the optimal option for group travel
Negotiate airline group contracts and process related seat deposits
Communicate clearly and in a timely manner regarding block space and charter schedules, pricing, and penalties
Adhere to all standard operating procedures for group air purchasing and travel management
Balance multiple tasks effectively, providing guidance to team members as needed
Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
2-4 years of experience in group or incentive air travel, demonstrating a firm knowledge of SABRE GDS system
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting systems
Education Requirements
Associate Degree in Travel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
Education Requirements Credential Category
Associate Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in travel management or a related industry
2-4 years specifically in group or incentive air travel with in-depth knowledge of airline operations and software systems
