As a receiving team member, it's your job to ensure the timely processing of all incoming shipments while keeping track of any discrepancies

Job Description:
Undertakes inbound receiving duties concerning the acceptance, verification, recording, and allotment to storage locations and trolleys of all goods conveyed.
The required hours of work for this role are from 7 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
• The act of unloading shipments denotes counting and recording the received goods by the computer. Then, the teams stage the items to improve their stocking and storage functionality.
• Utilize a powered pallet jack/forklift with safety in mind, following OSHA and Whole Foods guidelines for product unloading and movement.
• Examine products upon arrival to verify they adhere to the quality standards set by Whole Foods Market.
• Thoroughly checks and confirms exact quantities to guarantee order accuracy.
• Attach stickers to the merchandise using an adhesive mechanism to create a labeling database.
• Sort out the items and put them in order to prepare for storage or staging.
• It is essential to keep the product receiving area clean and organized, free from any waste or recyclable materials.
• Fill up the truck with all the recyclable materials and other goods that are scheduled to be shipped.
• Make certain that all relevant details relating to the shipment are accurately recorded on the paperwork.
• Taking measures to guarantee a safe, organized, and germ-free workplace is non-negotiable.
• By implementing OSHA's safety regulations, you are creating a safer work environment for everyone.
• It is essential to follow the assigned inbound door without fail.
• Verification and acknowledgement of common carrier paperwork and check-in of drivers.
• The process of transferring goods from one common carrier truck to another at a logistics center is called cross-docking.
• The shipping documents from the carrier provide vital information to cross-check and validate the quantities received in your inventory.
• Arrange the product into smaller subsets on separate pallets.
• Labeling pallets with customized identification tags is an effective way to optimize the put away process.
• Reorganize items in their allotted spaces.
• Offer personalized and attentive service to every guest.

The compensation for this role falls between $15.00 and $26.00 on an hourly basis, depending on one's prior experience.
