Graphic Designer Needed: T-Shirt Designs + Social Media Graphics (American Heritage Brand)
About the Project:
Sacred Honor is a premium American-made apparel brand celebrating America's founding era, launching in time for the nation's 250th birthday (July 4, 2026). We need a creative graphic designer for two deliverables.
Deliverable 1: T-Shirt Designs (5-7 designs)
We'll be working with pre-existing historical images (public domain artwork, engravings, photographs of landmarks, etc.) depicting iconic scenes and symbols from the American Revolution. Your job is to take those source images and transform them into compelling, print-ready t-shirt graphics through compositing, stylization, typography, and layout.
Subjects include things like the Liberty Bell, Paul Revere's Midnight Ride, Washington Crossing the Delaware, the Boston Tea Party, and similar founding-era imagery.
What we need from you:
Creative input: we have brand direction and general concepts, but want a designer who can brainstorm and propose design ideas that align with our vision
Ability to take historical source images and turn them into cohesive, premium-feeling shirt graphics
Print-ready vector files (AI/EPS) and high-res PNG with transparent backgrounds
Shirt base colors: black, navy, charcoal, white
Ink colors: white, antique gold, cream (designs must work in limited ink palettes for screen printing)
No modern 50-star flag. Only the Betsy Ross 13-star circle flag is used.
A brand guide and design brief with specific subjects will be provided
Deliverable 2: Social Media Cover Images (3 platforms)
Cover/banner images for Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok using existing brand assets we provide (logo, background image, brand color palette).
Ideal Candidate:
Strong portfolio showing creative compositing, photo manipulation, and typography for apparel or merchandise
Experience designing for screen-printed apparel (understands color separations and ink limitations)
A creative collaborator, not just an executor. We want someone who brings ideas to the table.
Comfortable working within a defined brand identity and style guide
Responsive communication and willingness to incorporate feedback
