The Role
IMA is seeking an experienced, initiative-taking Graphic Designer with a positive attitude to join the marketing team. The graphic designer will be responsible for creative design work across seventeen exclusive brands including product packaging, digital collateral, photography and much more. This position will work closely with the Brand Manager and Packaging Manager with oversight from the VP of Marketing.
Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for the design of marketing communication pieces including the overall theme development, ensuring commitment to brand standards.
· Collaborate with the IMA team from brief to final handoff, owning the concept and design with support from the key stakeholders.
· Design and produce print and digital marketing communications including photography and product packaging.
· Collaborate with and assist the internal and agency team during photo shoots to clearly communicate design needs.
· Design packaging mechanicals for a variety of brands, substrates, and printing processes.
· Own projects from brief sign-off through supplier handoff, presenting work to the key stakeholders and understanding/incorporating design feedback.
· Able to clearly present the creative idea that accomplishes project objectives and get key stakeholders excited.
· Responsible for creating high-impact, visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for high-level meetings and events.
· Manage and update company and E-brand guidelines and standards.
· Create and assemble comps / digital mock-ups for presentations and production.
· Deliver projects in a timely manner.
· Research the foodservice industry, keeping up with the trends.
· Support the marketing team as needed.
Job Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, or related field
· 5+ years of graphic design and packaging experience required, preferably in food
· Experience with CPG brands, private label food brands a plus
· Past agency experience, in-house experience a plus
· Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, with specific focus in Photoshop and Illustrator
· Big picture thinker with ability to translate brief to design.
· Excellent Communicator
