Graphic Design Intern | Aukema & Associates | Handshake

Aukema & Associates, a division of Rael & Letson, is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to assist with a range of design projects including but not limited to: print collateral such as newsletters, mailers, brochures, flyers, etc.; digital design such as social media graphics, formatted emails, and fillable PDF forms, as well as long form documents, logo design, and brand guidelines. This is a fully remote, paid part-time position. We are looking for a highly creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with an interest in working with a strategic marketing team to help create effective outreach campaigns and compelling communications for our clients. • Part-time, 10 to 20 hours/week, with schedule to be mutually determined • Anticipated duration is a 6-months internship, with potential to be a shorter or longer time frame • If completed for degree credit, Intern is responsible for assuring all required paperwork and documentation is submitted • Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, and the position will be filled as soon as we find a good candidate. • Although remote, work may not be performed from outside the United States Necessary Skills and Attributes: • Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator • Must know how to package files and export for print • Must have a portfolio or examples of work Preferred Education and Experience: • In junior or senior year pursuing Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Communication with an accredited college or university, or recent graduate Company Culture: We are a friendly, professional team and are open to flexible work arrangements (including working from home and some schedule flexibility), as long as business needs are covered.
