Graduate QA Engineer (Redwood City, CA)

The Graduate QA Engineer will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by developing and executing automated test scripts and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Develop and execute automated test scripts, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams Build/enhance the automation framework and help integrate with continuous integration tools Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, etc.) Collaborate with the QA team and developers to create detailed test cases, scenarios, and test plans for automated testing Run automated test and analyze results to identify defects and provide detailed reports Contribute to the continuous improvement of the test automation process by recommending and implementing best practices Utilize observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or similar tools to track application performance during test executions, analyze logs to detect issues, and configure real-time monitoring and alert systems Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality products are delivered Maintain clear documentation on test strategies, automation scripts, and testing processes Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar Build/enhance the automation framework and help integrate with continuous integration tools Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, etc.) Collaborate with the QA team and developers to create detailed test cases, scenarios, and test plans for automated testing Run automated test and analyze results to identify defects and provide detailed reports Contribute to the continuous improvement of the test automation process by recommending and implementing best practices Utilize observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or similar tools to track application performance during test executions, analyze logs to detect issues, and configure real-time monitoring and alert systems Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality products are delivered Maintain clear documentation on test strategies, automation scripts, and testing processes This position is onsite at our Redwood City, CA HQ.
