Graduate Engineer-Civil Wind

Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Graduate Civil Engineer supporting renewable development projects. The Graduate Civil Engineer will be responsible for performing routine engineering tasks on wind and solar renewable energy projects under supervision.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of construction plans and specifications of utility scale wind, solar and/or Battery storage (BESS) renewable projectsAssisting in the preparation of structural designs and drawings for solar foundations and support structuresConducts project specification research to determine applicable building codes and ensuring specific project requirements are addressed in the designWorks closely with other engineering technicians and experienced engineers on multiple projects as assignedComplete typical civil design tasks including design calculation reports, grading and erosion control plans, construction details, and stormwater management designDesign and production in AutoCAD Civil 3D software Prepare project quantity take-offs for civil design of renewable energy projectsSupport and develop project permit applicationsTechnically involved with the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigation or observationsComplete work as assigned by project discipline leads, including performing necessary design calculations, drafting reports, and design plan preparationProvide technical comparisons and similar technical work within the assigned marketSkillsB.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is requiredEIT certification or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hireAbility to apply standard engineering principles and practicesProven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)Must have authorization to work permanently in the USPrior engineering internship experience preferredAutodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience desiredDemonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvementBenefitsFlexible WorkplaceEmployee OwnershipCompetitive PayComprehensive Benefits PackageCollaborative EnvironmentInnovative CultureCompany OverviewUlteig is a civil engineering company that offers engineering, surveying, and consulting services.
