Graduate Civil Engineering (Available 2026)
Arup is a global consultancy with advisory and technical expertise across more than 150 disciplines, and they are seeking graduates in civil engineering to help design the future of the built environment. The role involves using various design software and hydraulic modeling tools to create sustainable infrastructure solutions while collaborating with teams and clients. Responsibilities Use Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Bentley (MicroStation, Power InRoads ) software to design and detail sites, roads, drainage systems, utilities as well as site grading and earthworks Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as InfoWorks, Hydraflow, PCSWMM and EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary and potable water systems Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements Coordinate with other teams to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery Engage with project collaborators and clients to develop designs that meets needs and concerns Support development of technical documentation including reports, presentations, memos, calculation packages, and specifications Skills Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant engineering degree Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals Experience with CAD softwareProfessional demeanor Good interpersonal skills needed for team-based working Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to address new challenges Must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future Eligible to become a member of the PEO/OIQ/APEGA Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher Proficient with civil engineering design and analysis tools for roads, rail and/or water systems Experience working in Geographic Information System (GIS) based systems such as ArcGIS Pro Past internship or extracurricular activity in the field Personal investment in academic or extracurricular field Benefits Health and welfare security Paid time off for rest and renewal Global Profit Share Plan (paid bi-annually) GRRSP 5% company match Company Overview Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.It was founded in 1946, and is headquartered in London, England, GBR, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
