Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Legal Fellow will assist members of the Global Public Policy & Government affairs team with legal, policy research and legislative analysis.

The Legal Fellow reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Global Public Policy & Government Affairs, with the primary responsibility to provide support to leadership in the research and analysis of public policy at the global, federal, state, and local levels. The Legal Fellow will also undertake legal research and writing in support of Walmart’s Global Governance and Law function.
What you’ll do:
• Support the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team and the Global Governance team by providing legal and policy research and analysis.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team monitoring policy at all levels of government.
• Provide written analysis related to key legal and policy matters.
• Work collaboratively across teams within the business.
What you’ll bring:
• Experience and proficiency with legal research and writing.
• Completed bachelor’s degree.
• Current pursuit of a law degree (current law student) or completed law degree.
• An interest in public policy and governance.
• A team-focused mindset.

The hourly wage range for this position is $27.00-$52.00*
• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
