Qualified candidates will:Be physically located within the United States during the entire duration of the internshipBe available for full-time hire in 2026Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems and securityHave a genuine passion for information securityBe motivated and eager to learn new skillsHave demonstrated efforts toward entering cybersecurity, which may include: Obtaining certificationsAttending trainingsPursuing a formal educationParticipating in industry organizationsContributing to personal or industry projectsThis position is not available for candidates living in the following states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont, Washington and Wyoming.Internship Details and Expectations:This is a part-time, remote paid internship ($20hr) that is offered as part of a GPSU cohort running from Sept 2 - Nov 21, 2025.Interns are expected to:Work 25-29 hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through FridayHave a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours While the internship does allow flexible hours, interns will often be required to attend trainings and shadowing opportunities between the hours of 11am - 4pm EST, Monday - Friday.
